November is here! And, that means America Recycles Day! Mark your calendars for November 15, 2011, and find Open Houses for Recycling Centers around your area. Find out how recycling takes place in your area, what you can recycle, maybe even get a tour of a facility! Fun!

Broomfield Recycling Center, 225 Commerce Street, Broomfield, CO 80020
Nov. 15, 2011 • 9 a.m. – noon

Celebrate America Recycles Day and provide informatin about the Broomfield Recycling Center and Broomfield’s recycling programs for its residents, such as cooking oil, waste oil, tree limb chipping program, and other annual events.

Aurora Recycles

Nov. 15, 2011
8 a.m. – noon

We will be collecting waste batteries of all types as well as liquid mercury, thermometers, thermostats and other mercury containing devices. No fluorescent tubes or CFL bulbs will be accepted.

  1. Thanks for the heads up about recycling day…I’m working on recycled artwork. Also, do you know of the Eco Creations show at the Muse Gallery in Longmont? The call for entries for the 2012 show has not taken place yet but i’d be happy to forward to you when I get it if you’re interested!
