Trashy Collage Abstract Series!

Here is a new series of collagy trashy paintings collage on 4 x 6 cardboard pieces. I had such a blast creating this series!

And, you may ask why do I paint on cardboard…click here. This series of paintings below expresses personal ideas about life around us – topics that should be talked about or stuff I just need to get off my chest. Hey, maybe it’s therapy!

Inspiration: Comes from all the yelling I have to do at my dog. Yes, it’s true.
He is a stubborn guy and surely I have to annoy my neighbors to get my dog to
do what I tell him. For instance,  90 percent of the time he won’t stop eating dirt,
eating grass, eating our tree – yes, the tree, eating poop, or to come in the house,
without yelling! So much yelling. Tired of the yelling. Made some nice art though!

The Trashy Bit: is a metallic piece from a food bag and some old typing paper I had laying around.

Inspiration: We must read the labels on our food and we must know what is in them.
They advertise whole grain on a product and then include other junky stuff like High Fructose Corn Syrup.
Yum, more sugars. The Rub is to know everything that is in your food,
The Rub is even though there might be healthy stuff in your food there
might also be hidden stuff that is unhealthy. We all know that, right?

The Trash: is a paper piece from a food box.
